Management Aptitude Test or commonly known as MAT 2014 is one of the most popular competitive exams amongst MBA aspirants conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi every year. MAT is a government of India and ministry of HRD approved test conducted to assist B- schools to screen the candidates for admission in MBA program of various colleges.

So Aspirants have to download the MAT 2014 Admit Card online from official website of AIMA .i.e., www.aima.in.
  • Candidates have applied both in offline and online mode will have to download the MAT 2014 Admit Card/ Hall ticket from the official site. Candidates must log on to site by their Application Number, Date of Birth to download the hall ticket. All Individual  candidates has to bring any verification ID at the time of examination or may not be allowed to enter in the examination hall such as PAN card, Voter ID card, Driving License, Employee Card etc. Please paste candidates passport size photograph on the hall ticket if not present. Please remember one thing in case of missing of hall ticket/Admit card may not be allowed to write the exam.

MAT 2014 Eligibility Criteria

Management Aptitude Test or MAT 2014 is a standardized entrance test for admission to MBA colleges conducted by All India Management Aptitude Testing Services (AIMAS). MAT is a national level entrance test which held four times in every year in the month of February, May, September and December. MAT results are accepted by All India Management Association – Centre of Management Education (AIMA – CME) and other Management Institutes. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School – national or international – can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. MAT Exam is conducted in two modes Offline (Traditionally Paper Pen based) or Online (Computer based).

MAT 2014 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Firstly the Candidates must have bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized College/ University.
  • Candidates who are appearing in the final year examination can also apply for MAT 2014 entrance exam
  • There is no age limit to appear for this exam.
  • There are no minimum marks required in graduation to appear for MAT 2014.

MAT 2014 Application Form & Paper Pattern

MAT Results are approved by AIMA-CME (i.e. All India Management Association – Centre for Management Education) and other AICTE-approved Management Institutes (MI) and university sectors. MAT Exam is conducted in two modes Offline (Paper Pen based) or Online (Computer based).So many candidates are very interested in this exam after doing their bachelors degree specifically engineering students

MAT 2014 Application Form: MAT 2014 will be held in the month of February conducted by AIMA.Although there is no any notification unconfined by AIMA officially. Eligible candidates can avail the application form by any of this process.

  • Firstly candidates can register online at official website with Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card).
  • Or Secondly Take form with MAT Bulletin/ CD by paying cash of Rs 1200/- from Bank of Baroda or Axis Bank, listed Study Centers of AIMA or from AIMA, New Delhi.
  • Or thirdly candidate can Obtain crossed Demand Draft of Rs 1200/- in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank. Candidate can register online at MAT Website along with the DD details.

MAT 2014 Paper Pattern:

  • MAT Exam 2014 is conducted in two modes, Paper Pencil Format or Computer Based. In Computer Based Test means the candidate sits in front of a computer and the questions are presented on the computer monitor and the candidate submits the answers through the use of keyboard or mouse. Each computer is connected to a server, which prepares the question set and delivers it to the candidate on the computer. In traditional Paper Based Test, Candidate is supposed to bring Pen, HB-Pencils, Erasers and Sharper with him/her whereas the Question Paper & OMR Answer Sheet is provided at the Test Centre.
  • The Paper Based Test is being conducted on the first Sunday of the February, May, September and December from 1000-1230 hours. Whereas the Computer Based Test is being conducted from Saturday onwards (6 days after the Paper Based Test date) and in different Time slots.
  • All questions will be asked in Multiple Choice type. MAT 2014 exam will be consists of 200 questions to be answered in 150 minutes. The MAT 2014 Paper is alienated into 5 sections, Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment.
